Radishes
by DR Varg
The weather, it's so pleasant; fills my soul with such delight! The buds are sprouting ev'rywhere! Their colors, sharp and bright.
The air is warm and comforting.
The lilacs are appearing, with
But one trait of a day like this,
And this took place today, which stirred
How dif'frent from the other times, when recollections hit. On those occasions...seems I was just thrown into a pit!
The memory would capture me
But now a mem'ry crossed my path
She shared with me, I then recalled,
But even with this feature known,
She warned me of the likelihood
But seemingly this was a state
But 'twas a time, I do recall
'Twas I the driver on this day; the helm then, I did man. My passengers included Col and Denny in her van.
It was a warm day (like today);
The air, it changed so drastic'lly ![]() David R. Varg (5-12-01) |
