A Year Ago 2002

The midi playing is: Seems Like Old Times

  'Twas one year back, I saw a sight
which stirred my heart up, so!

Emotions, deep, this did ignite.
Warm tears began to flow.

So much, it seemed, things had returned
to 1995.
To sense this...I had longed for, yearned--
could feel our love alive!

The Col I knew, was here, portrayed
in such a poignant way!
Strong feelings hit! For so long they'd
been lost...until this day.

These sights we'd seen, and once more, now;
we two, this spot, did share.
Such closeness, this view did allow;
our love seemed once more, there.

We'd walked together here, a lot;
her niece we'd visit...see.
We stood before that precious spot
so often; Col and me.

She lived close to her parents when
we two enjoyed our tie.
...observed that this was here again!
...seemed like our times were nigh!

Our "Snowstorm Walk" passed by those gates,
which, marks the entrance, here.
That day we seemed like such "Soul Mates"!
...could sense that once more near!

And where was this location that
these happ'nings, I did face?
'Twas when I stood before her at
her Suncook resting place.

It let me sense how I was blessed;
so gratitude filled, I'm.
I pray that, now in peace, you rest;
and thank you for our time.

To feel the love, which share, did we
is such a blessed state!
Each mem'ry I can thoroughly
embrace...appreciate!
