The "grendel-friendly" world allows grendels to breed by making them so that they won't hit when they don't mean to. Be sure you do not have any norns or grendels that you'd like to keep in your world when you finally use this world. Export them first, then read the instructions with this file. Created by Slink at Slink's Burrow Online (Creatures portion of site now closed). If this sounds like too much trouble, there's a COB version on my COBs page.

For grendels that visibly age like norns do, you can get the sprites for the baby grendel from Greg Poehlein at Norn Holiday and for the old ("pensioner") grendel created by Lis Morris at The Palace of the Evil Shee. Be sure to put the .spr files in the Images subdirectory.

If you find the regular grendels boring in color, you can get "multi-colored" ones that have different-colored highlights in their skin tone. They'll still be mostly greenish, though. Created by Slink.

Bored of the world as it is and want non-mean grendels? Try Terra Nornia - it's automatically "grendel friendly", and gives your norns and grendels a new world to explore, new foods, plants, and animals, and much more! Find it, and an explanation of how to install it, on Lis Morris' site.

To learn more about how to use these files to let you breed grendels, please visit my Breeding page.
