C2 Norns

I was involved in the testing of the new Nova Subterra norns, created by LummoxJR of The Norn Underground. They are modified so that they do not forget everything after they reach about one hour old (which happens to most norns), and they are very happy and self-sufficient, generally. They enjoy traveling as well. Like most norns with new brain lobes or organs (such as the Canny Norns or C307 norns), they should only be bred with other norns of their type, or severe birth defects might result. These are some of the best norns I've seen. The starter pack is only available through The Norn Underground.

Dana is the child of the artificially aged norns West (from CyberLife's new genome, slightly altered by Frimlin) and Dahlia (based on Lis Morris' new v. 1.10 genome), available from Frimlin's Kiwi Creatures. (I chose artificially older norns since my copy of Creatures 2 runs four times slower than normal, since I'm running it on a Pentium 100. It takes me forever to raise most norns to breeding age.) She looks a lot like her mother, with the mottled green head, but even more intense blue coloration on her body. She is only four minutes old, but has already been taught all of the words in the Encyclopedia Nornica, and has eaten and slept as well. She seems to prefer mushrooms, carrots, and tomatoes so far.

Curt is the child of the artificially aged norns Brett and Dahlia, available from Frimlin's Kiwi Creatures. He has the lovely blue and green coloration of his parents, and most resembles his father. He also is only a few minutes old, but knows all the words in the EN, and has eaten and slept. His genetics may or may not be the best, since his parents are essentially siblings, but he hasn't shown any problems for me. In fact, he's been very good about eating in his infancy (so far, at least).

Ash is only a couple of minutes old at most, but he's already an youth due to artificial aging. He speaks CyberLife English, and likes to eat mushrooms and tomatoes the most so far. He also seems to like to play with toys and push other items around him, and has had a good temperament in my world. He is the son of the artificially aged norns Bren and Myra, genetically engineered by Frimlin (using his f001 genome) to hopefully be better eaters and sleepers, among other things. Ash looks most like his father, but has a color that's a blend of both his parents' colorations.

Pam is, like Ash, only a couple of minutes old but is a youth already, and speaks CyberLife English. She has been cheerful, and a good eater and sleeper. She is the daughter of the artificially aged norns Craig and Prue (and is a close match in looks with her mother), again from Frimlin's f001 genome.
