Water Falling

Have no thought but for the pull of current, The jostle of being with. Be contained, not constrained. And when you reach the edge, When the moment of separation comes, And the ground opens into air, When what once was solid evaporates, When rushing water becomes waterfall. Be a drop falling. Relinquish connection. Have faith. Let go. Be blissfully present in the moment. Experience the self As separate. Alone. Feel the pull of gravity. Never wondering if it will end. Let the sorrow of losing one way, And the uncertainly of beginning another, Pass through you As sunlight through clear water. Sparkle. |
