Carbon & Silicon Alliance is a multifaceted organisation comprised of Diana F. Engelbart and Carl R. Friend devoted to providing "Computing for Everyone", the breeding of purebred Birman cats, and preservation of antique computers.
CSiA's functions are to provide photographic restoration, retouching, and modification services, design and creation of sites for the World Wide Web and design and development of infomration systems to the public at large and various corporate interests.
Diana Engelbart is President of CSiA and the proprietress of the Nirmanakaya Cattery which is dedicated to the breeding and popularisation of Birman purebred cats.
Carl Friend is CSiA's Chief Scientist and "curator" of the Virtual Minicomputer Museum.
