Overview
Pixal's DC100 digital camera provides outstanding performance for its
price range. The camera works superbly in low-light situations, offering
a wide variety of compression schemes and display options. The Pixal
DC100 combines ease of use with digital technology, 2x digital zoom,
and digital autofocusing. The 1.3-megapixel CCD sensor ensures accurate
color and exposure.
The DC100 includes an 8 MB memory card that can hold up to 60 pictures
at 640x480 resolution. In addition, the DC100 can store single pictures
at a 1280x960 resolution. You can insert an additional 8 MB of memory
for greater performance.
The DC100 comes with four AA batteries (enough for 60 low-resolution
photos) and a removable 8 MB Smartcard, capable of storing 120 pictures.
You also get photo imaging software and a printer interface kit.

- Auto-exposure and contrast-balance The DC100 automatically
compensates for the light conditions and contrast.
- Manual exposure Use the manual exposure controls for more
control over your photos.
- SureStore power meter The SureStore power meter shows you
how much power is available to you, so you'll never be caught short when
you need a photo.
- Intelli-flash The built-in Intelli-flash provides additional
light when needed. The Intelli-flash has three settings: Off, On, and
Automatic.
- Progressive CCD Scanning using progressive CCD provides
high quality images by reading all pixels on the CCD imager within a
single pass. This delivers clean edges and produces a sharper image.
- E-mail mode E-mail mode allows you to download your images to
your favorite e-mail programs, reducing the image file for fast and
easier mailing.
- 2x digital focus The DC100's 2x digital focuser makes it
easier for you to get close to your subject. Manual focusing is also
available.
- Picture freeze Freeze your image in the LCD with the Quick
Recall feature.
- Whole disk copy Copy all of your pictures from your camera to
your computer in seconds.
- Bitmapped images For even better images, save your files as
bitmapped images without file compression.
