Bargain Basement !!!!
Welcome to the SGF Bargain Basement! Explore this area to find quality items that are not well suited for auction, such as gently used computers, books, furniture, and the like. You can browse and purchase anything listed, or submit items of your own that you wish to donate for sale on behalf of SGF.
If you don't like a price, make us an offer we can't refuse! EVERYTHING is negotiable! This is our way of hosting a permanent yet very selective yard sale without having to cart everything outside at 7 a.m.!
Do you have something of good quality you'd like to donate to SGF for the Bargain Basement? What about that extra pair of binoculars, the wedding gifts that are just not quite "you" or that collection of CD's from your boss that you know you'll never listen to but just can't figure out what to do with? Consider listing your selected treasures on the SGF Bargain Basement site! (NB: if you have a gift certificate to a store or restaurant that you don't think you'll use, we'll be glad to take that too. Gift certificates are listed separately in the Merchandise area). Contact us at sgf@stevegliddenfoundation.org to find out how to donate items or to let us know what you have.
Items offered in this area are tax-deductible at fair market value to the donor as a non-cash charitable contribution (as required by the IRS, fair market value is determined by you, not us). Once your item sells, we can supply you with a contributed goods receipt for your taxes.
Once payment is received by SGF for a particular item, we will send it to you or arrange for a pickup, in the case of large items such as furniture, we will put the buyer and seller in touch with one another to make their own arrangements for delivery. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
