For the record, my personal interests span a wide, and not especially coherent, set of topics.

Particular interests include 20th Century art and literature. I'm a fan of artists including Bruno Schulz, Paul Klee, and Joseph Cornell, and writers including J.G. Ballard, Walter Benjamin, Maurice Richardson and John Banville, to name a few from the top of my head.

I also like peculiar electronic music, much to the despair of my wife, as well as odd bits of country music and off-kilter pop.

Finally, I enjoy speculative fiction (science fiction and fantasy). Really this should be included in the first category - writers like Gene Wolfe and John Crowley count under any sane definition of literature.
