We bought this 25 acre farm in southern New Hampshire the day before Halloween, 1996. The house is circa 1750-60's. It was extremely well renovated by the former owner. During our first year we have cleared, stumped, seeded, limed and fertilized about 10 acres. Whew! Lots of work, but our pastures next spring will be beautiful. We are now in the process (yes in winter) of putting up high-tensile electric fencing. Our reactions to cutting down trees were mixed, it was very sad in many ways, but the topography it revealed is really beautiful. We are loving raising Scottish Highland Cattle, Scottish Blackface Sheep, Black Welsh Mountain Sheep and LaMancha Dairy goats.
