Objective: While doing research on the city of medieval Buda (modern Budapest), I was unable to find any good maps of the city dating back to the Middle Ages. I decided to use what little information I could find to create my own 3-D perspective map of medieval Buda. I was able to find a crude map in a doctoral thesis entitled "Medieval Buda" which was pieced-together from medieval manuscripts, and the rest is imagination. Unfortunately, I did not have time to complete the surrounding suburbs; perhaps I will another day.
