Objective:

Construct a 3-panel comic strip using a "point" element, a line and a line of text.

Credit 1: The "fly" image in the third panel was a stock image that came with Adobe Illustrator.

Credit 2: The font used in the third panel is called "Wonton" by Da Font Mafia and was obtained from simplythebest.net (http://simplythebest.net/fonts/fonts/wonton.html)

• This project was an assignment for a foundation digital design course at DePaul University.
• The project received high marks for creativity, especially the use of the line element in the third panel (which forms a map of China).
• One criticism of the piece was that the point and line elements in the central panel (magnifying glass) should have been larger and the project was penalized for not using the same point element in all 3 panels (three separate elements were used: a caterpillar, a cocoon and an insect).
