Exhibit

   An exhibition examining the important political and aesthetic contribution of immigrant artists to the history of contemporary American art. Artists who had emigrated to the United States were asked to make a new work that would relate to their change in cultural context and how this influenced their art.

Performance

   An evening of performances by Lucio Pozzi, Komar and Melamid and Atlas Theater which related to the experience of immigrant artists making art in a new cultural context.
