Exhibition
WILD, featuring drawing, painting, sculpture and installation by fifteen exciting artists. The exhibition will present the artists' unusual interpretations of traditional mediums, and their unexpected manipulation of materials and subject matter. WILD show what we see happening right now in the studios we've visited in and around the city.
This exhibition is made possible by a major grant from Catharine and Jeffrey Soros. Also, the Bohen Foundation, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, and our members.
"Leave it to Exit Art to attempt to tackle the ever shifting notion of what's actually happening in the art world...Exit Art is where the "Wild" things are. The group show of untamed emrging talent features the latest in painting, sculpture and installation."
- Time Out
"Fifteen untamed new artists manipulate materials and immagery to create a postindustrial fantasia of scrappy psycho-techno-biomorphic forms."
- The Village Voice
"An experimental, exotic and exuberant atmosphere marks Exit Art's annual show of emerging artists".
- Simon Says
