Merry Christmas Moviehouse!!!

We went to see It's a Wonderful Life at the Brattle Theater last night. As many times as I've seen it, and as much as I often waffle about seeing it again, there's always something about seeing it on the big screen, and somewhere in me I always know that it'll be worth it. Last night I noticed a bunch of stuff that I hadn't noticed before: you really do see so much more when it's on the big screen. Like the fact that when Bert the cop shoots at George Bailey as he's running away from him in Pottersville, he misses and you can see the "s" in the neon "Pottersville" sign wink out.

snow... snow... snow...

Hope everyone is enjoying the Advent Calendar!

It's still snowing up here! Probably about 8 inches so far... It's the first predicted blizzard in years that has actually delivered on its promise. Terri & I are celebrating by baking cookies.
