| PO Brian R Jones was shot and killed on October 13, 1996 while attempting to take police action due to a robbery in the East New York area of Brooklyn. Brian, known as Huggy to his friends, was an outstanding police officer. Brian was a member of the PSA4 Bike Patrol Unit for several years, where he was a very active cop. He was part of the Anti-Crime unit at the time of his death. Brian was known throughout the command, and the community as a friend to all, and will be missed by all of us. His memory is forever with us, and he will be beside us on every call. |
