IS NATIONAL HEART MONTHHeart disease is the number one killer of American women age 35 and older. Several factors increase women's risk of heart disease. We cannot control some of these such as increasing age, your family health history and race. However, the four factors that we can change to reduce the risk for heart disease are smoking, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and physical inactivity. To receive the booklet Take Charge! The Fight BAC multi media campaign is a food safety education program for consumers. The campaign focuses on four critical food safety messages:
Clean: Wash hands and surfaces often
Separate: Do not cross-contaminate
