The firm is undertaking the complete renovation of this architecturally significant, turn-of-thecentury brick mill building within the Southbridge Business Center for use by the U.S. Department of Defense as a residential training center for its management and executive level personnel. The new full service facility will offer dedicated education and meeting spaces with state-of-the-art technical and telecommunications capabilities, oversized guestrooms with private study areas, elegant lounges and dining rooms, health club with indoor pool, as well as administrative and back-of-the-house areas in both renovated spaces and new additions. The operating concept for the facility is to market the conference center and guestrooms to the general public during periods which the Department of Defense is not conducting its training programs.
