THE PARK OF PEACE

Dedicated To Krystle Campbell, and all other victims
of Boston Marathon(4/15/2013):
Martin Richard, Lingzi Lu and Sean Collier

We've gathered here today, at the Park of Peace
For you, Krystle, and all the other promising lives lost.

Here, a heartbroken city has come,

Praying for one of its own, a daughter in our hearts.

At the forefront is your family

Holding a flowers in their hands,

Missing you Krystle so much today,
and every day.

The city of Medford, built Park in honor of you

and gave it your beautiful name:  Krystle Campbell

Surrounded by flowers and lights

it is truly a beautiful place.

It also unfortunately reminds us
of the Boston Marathon bombing.

A day when amongst April blooms,
blood trickled down.

My heart was beating fast that day

worried for my own daughter
she was watching the Boston Marathon nearby
I warred  she may have the same misfortune.

Watching the Marathon from the sidelines,
you Krystle, were one of the unlucky ones.

And we will always remember you
when April's flowers bloom.

We come to this park, everyday,
giving ourselves time to heal,
getting over a broken heart,
no matter who we are or what we represent,
we think of everyone while praying for Krystle and all the others.

And yet, the blood still trickles down all around the world.
For no reason!

And all I hear is Krystle voice saying to us:
Love and Peace! God Bless!
