Two Sides of the Same Coin,” written and organized by Michael Estabrook is very inspiring. His amazing portrayal of so many routine occurrances blossoms into a collection of beautiful poems. His ideas are very insightful and alluring, showing us the poet's deep appreciation for the simple things in life; that is what makes his poety so thought provoking and interesting.

Illustrator Wayne Hogan's drawings capture the essence of Mr. Estabrook's verse. It amazed me how he took the things we sometime fear and fashioned them into a beautiful poetry. For example, “Fear of Hair” and “Love of Hair” are two complementary poems, both well written and very touching, that reveal the depth of the poet's response to a simple everyday topic. Michael Estabrook is an amazing poet – but don't take my word for it. Pick up a copy of “Two Sides of the Same Coin” and judge for yourself. It is highly recommended by Fresh! Literary Magazine.
