Mission Statement

As a gardener, one of my goals is to bring beauty into my life with flowers and friends. Another goal is to grow my own  healthy food from my organic veggie and healthy herbs. And lastly, putting back into nature and our environment to replenish what I have taken out of it through composting. I recycle all kitchen scraps (no protein). Please recycle plastic, glass, and bring canvas bags to the grocery stores...please limit plastic bag use. Ask for paper bags and recycle your newspapers in them at the curb or bring to a recycling bin for newspapers/paper. Help your local schools recycle paper, bottles/cans in the cafe etc. THINK GREEN!

Another one of my goals is to spread the word about the benefits of BACKYARD  ORGANIC GARDENING using many different types of  mediums--researching information on horticulture, growing plants, teaching garden classes, garden consulting, garden coaching, garden therapy, public speaking, and belonging to horticulture organizations.

Check out my other pages above or click on the links on the above left .

THINK GREEN!  RECYCLE!  REUSE!

To all those who drop pots at my door, THANK YOU!

Hi Everyone,

I recently created a Flickr account for my flower photos and the link is below. I am just starting to add photos and will be adding more, enjoy.

  http://www.flickr.com/photos/gardensense/

The flower pics and scenery of photos I have taken in my travels. If you would like any of these photos, I make photo note cards with envelopes and will be charging $10 for 6 cards. I have a lot of cards already made up if you would like to come see them. Some of the cards are of Wakefield scenes in winter, the common and lake too as well as some NH.

Greg & his friend bought a place in NH, Sugar Hill area about 10 min. from Bretton Woods ski area, it is a rental also if you are interested. Click on the link above.

My daughter Alissa has some pretty nice photos, jewelry and leather items on her web sites and sells on Etsy.com as well...check out her web sites above.

Thanks for checking out my web site. Please come by when the gardens are open to say hi.

Jean
