| Computer Books and Modem |
9 Sep 2002 |
I have a number of books on Microsoft software that I will no longer use, dealing with
Microsoft Works for DOS, Windows 95, Windows ME, Word 97 and Office 97. Some are fairly elementary, while others are quite technical. Some also include floppies or CD's.
Anybody who can use any of these is welcome to them. If you can think of
any organization that might use them, please let me know. If nobody
wants them, they will go to the town dump/sanitary landfill/transfer
station/recycling center, where maybe someone will pick them up.
Also, a friend of mine has an old external modem which he no longer needs. It is a
ZOOM/FAXMODEM FX 9624, made by Zoom Telephonics. It has a plug-in power
supply and a DB-9 Female to DB-25 Male cable. Again, it's yours for the taking away.
