Intellon, Inc., Ocala, Florida, develops technology and products for communication over power lines and wireless media. g·m began working with Intellon months before its first products were introduced. We handled the product launch, followed up with a colorful, informative brochure, wrote and placed a series of technical and tutorial articles, and created Intellon's lead-generating ad.

Product Launch

Intellon's audience was limited to electrical engineers who would design its technology into products for smart commercial buildings, home automation, electrical power demand and control, and other low-speed monitoring and control applications. A press tour yielded exactly the coverage Intellon needed to tell the market about its products.

Intellon's products sales have expanded tremendously since their introduction...

Collateral

Intellon had to pack a technical description of its products, examples of how they could be used, and photos of them into one brochure. By breaking the topics into 2-page spreads and taking care to write it in non-technical language, g·m gave Intellon a comprehensive yet readable brochure that met all the company's requirements.

Intellon's products sales have expanded tremendously since their introduction...

Feature Articles

Intellon had several stories to tell to potential integrators: a technical story that explains how its proprietary technology can be integrated into local area networks; how to physically connect Intellon products to, and examples of how power line and radio frequency communications can be used in the real world. g·m wrote a number of these articles and place them in publications that Intellon targeted as essential.

Advertising

When Intellon was ready to ship its products, we created a killer, hard-sell ad that was more successful than Intellon imagined it could be.

Result:
Selling out exactly what design engineers wanted to hear and running the ad in the right publications resulted in Intellon getting more than 1,000 phone inquiries in just a month.
