Dear CLC Member,

As you probably know there will be a special town meeting on Wednesday, 
January 22nd to consider the proposed Lincoln Park Fields Project in which 
the present fields would be replaced with three synthetic fields.

Attached is a letter that CLC has written to Town Meeting Members 
expressing some of our concerns about the use of artificial turf and the 
design that has been proposed. You can find additional information about 
some of the problems that have surfaced at www.q4th.com/lincolnparkfields.

As stated in the attached letter, CLC believes that the plan for the 
Lincoln Park Fields deserves further consideration before a final decision 
is made. If you are concerned about this issue, we urge you to contact your 
town meeting members and express your opinions before they meet in session 
tomorrow night.
