On Saturday March 22 at 4.30pm a meeting took place at the Christian Science church at the corner of Muzzey and Forest Sts. The meeting was hosted by representatives of the group promoting a teen center, about 8 of whom were present. Other attendees included Jeff Lyons (the realtor handling the church sale), 3 or 4 members of the Christian Science congregation, and 15-20 residents of the Belfry Hill neighborhood. Tim Dugan, a member of the teen center group and a child psychiatrist, hosted the meeting. He made the case that the town needs a teen center and then opened the meeting up for general comments. Immediate neighbors of the church, including Frank Cavatorta, Elliot Silverman, and John Campbell, were among the first to speak. They expressed serious concerns about the impact of a teen center on traffic, the safety of the Muzzey-Forest St. intersection, parking, and noise levels. Written statements were handed out by Frank and Marian Cavatorta, Elliot Silverman, and Peter and Beverly Kelley. Other neighbors expressed support for the concept of a teen center, and praised the sponsors for consulting the neighbors at an early stage, but had reservations about this location. The teen center group gathered email addresses so that neighbors can be kept informed of their discussions. John Campbell 33 Muzzey St
