Alton Guinn Stanley, Second daughter of Alonzo Nolan and Gordon Guinn Stanley was born in Commerce, Georgia on March 27, 1904. She died in Newnan, Georgia on February 5, 1995

On September 24, 1925 she married John Herman Robinson, Sr. in Atlanta, Georgia.   He was born September 27, 1896 in Pickens County, South Carolina and died January 6, 1970 in Newnan, Georgia. He was the son of John Benton and Amanda (Banks) Robinson. He was A World War I Veteran, 27 months in the battles of Soisoins, Cantigny, Montsect, Argonne, and Argonne Forest.

They were the parents of seven children, and as my Grandfather would say "All of them boys except six!"

The Robinson daughters, all born in Georgia, were strikingly beautiful, real "Georgia Peaches"

Only one daughter remained in Georgia. The rest are married and settled in Virginia, Colorado, Delaware and West Virgina. Their Son, lives in Atlanta

Although scattered throuout the United States, the daughters visited their home in Newnan, Georgia often. To this very day, they have annual "Reunions" attended by all the family members which now includes grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

One daughter, who had lived in Ohio, passed away and is sadly missed
