We knew right away the quality of the home we were about to buy and this was further evidenced from our very complimentary home inspection. “My wife and I owned a tear down property in Wellesley, MA. Our house was very old,  structurally tired and significantly outdated. Our  value was in the land aspect of it. However we lived on a  pond and there were significant wetland issues compromising  development. Our property was also non conforming in size and had to go in front of the local Zoning Board of Appeals for approvals prior to allowing any development.
