I am a full time gold seal and Master CFI-IA who has been an active CFI for over 35 years and have over 11,000 hours. My experience includes owning a FAA & VA Professional approved flight school for 13 years. I also did contract work for Professional Instrument Courses for over 4years instructing many satisfied instrument pilots.

 My company, Gilmore Aviation Services, specializes in advanced flight and ground training. The goal is to train you in the minimum amount of time using methods, which I have perfected after years of instruction. Pilots find my methods both challenging and fun.

I use the On Top FAA approved hardware/software training to provide up to 10 hours of credit for initial 40 required for the instrument rating. I have found this to be a state of the art component in helping pilots learn the mental thought process before climbing into an aircraft and applying the knowledge in the air.

Most people can be ready for the instrument checkride in ten days average. I make no guarantee that this will happen, but can give a fairly accurate assessment of your position on the learning curve after the third day of training.

I include in my daily rate full use of the PCATD. We work eight hours per day and I provide a flexible schedule to meet your needs in the event you need to have personal or business obligations.

My services include commercial pilot and flight instructor training. Both of these ratings are presented using the same process of compressed training.
