Mathematics

The 6-8 grade mathematics curricula emphasizes problem solving and problem solving strategies through the use of word problems. Lessons are designed to give the students the opportunity to increase their understanding of fundamentals and to develop an understanding and appreciation of new concepts.

The level of complexity through the middle school years increases as the students develop their abstract reasoning skills. Short term and long term projects will be utilized to relate mathematical concepts to the real world.
