1346. Homer Clay, born March 12th, 1842. He was in the 9th Michigan Cavalry. CAPTAIN CARLOS HART, Avon, Conn., fifth son of Abner Hart, of Avon, Conn., and his wife, Alma (Thompson), born November 25th, 1808, at Avon; married, June, 1833, Lois, daughter of Gideon Rice, of Barkhamsted, and his wife, Mary Ann Sanderson, born February 14th, 1814, at Bark- hamsted, and died January 15th, 1839, at Ravenna, Ohio. He was a teacher at the south, in Georgia and other states. He died at Wheeling, Va., August 3d, 1840, and was buried there, aged 31 years, 8 months, 8 days. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.
1342. Carlos Austin, born December 22d, 1834, at Ira, N. Y.; married , Sarah P. Bird. HOMER HART, Gerard, Erie County, Penn., sixth son of Abner Hart, of Avon, Conn., and his wife, Alma (Thompson), born February 24th, 1811, at Avon; married , Delia Loveridge, of Gerard, Penn. THEIR CHILD, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.
1349. Levi, born , 1843. AUSTIN ABNER HART, eighth son of Abner Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Alma (Thompson), born November 13th, 1823, at Avon; married November 20th, 1844, Catharine, daughter of Adna Thompson Hart, of Avon, and his wife, Lydia (Woodruff), born June 29th, 1824. He is a farmer by occupation, and was living at Cider Brook, so called, in 1871. THEIR CHILD, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.
