Georg Christian Ludwig and Appolonia (Ritter) Rannenberg, about 1880

We don't know where Georg Christain was born, but Detmold, Lower Saxony, Germany is listed as his "home village" in records of Colombia Evangelical (German) Reformed Church of Union Hill, now Union City N.J. Georg is believed to have been 1 of 10 children. He was a master cabinet and furniture maker, for Steinway piano and for his own business. Georg and Appolonia Rannenberg may have emmigrated from Germany in 1850, but we are uncertain of the date. They had 10 children.
