Sherman H. Swift was born in Edinboro, PA. He and his brother Dallas Swift moved to Petrolia, Ontario, Canada to start a clothing store. This did not last and he then went to Ann Arbor, Mich. to get a dentistry degree. He spent the rest of his life as a farmer and a dentist in Edinboro, PA. Their children were Dean, Clara, and Gordon, in the picture below.
