When Robert Raikes concluded his contract with Applause, he took some of the remaining inventory from the 1993 Circus Collection, designed imaginative new costumes for them, and has made them available to collectors as redressed collectibles. Original Applause serial numbers are on the feet, but do not reflect the limited nature of these designs. Each collectible is signed by Bob and has a certificate from his studio. No hangtags come on redressed pieces.
Melanie the Monkey: Adorable is the only word for this redressed monkey. Melanie wears a patriotic red, white and blue dress, matching hair bow, and red panties. She even has a red, white and blue pinwheel. Melanie's fur is black, and she comes in an original Maurice the Monkey box.
