Lexington Bicycle Advisory Committee -- 1994

Members: 10, of whom four are representatives of town boards and six are interested citizens

Meeting Times: As needed (Second Thursday, every other month, including Jan. 7:30 pm, Town Hall Room G-15)

Purpose This Committee advises the Board of Selectmen on matters relating to the Bikeway, including associated routes, lanes, paths and bicycle parking so as to serve the best interests of the Town of Lexington and its citizens and the neighboring communities affected by the facility.

Criteria for Membership Membership consists of one representative each from the Board of Selectmen, the Planning Board, the Conservation Commission, the Recreation Committee, and six concerned citizens. The latter are chosen to represent the interests of users and abutters as well as to include people whose talents and skills may assist the Committee in carrying out its assignments.
