PA (Technical)

The New York Dolls show is very dynamic, ranging from soft spoken word to full- on loud and powerful rock. As such the PA system must be completey full range and of enough cabinets and amplifiers to provide distortion free peaks of 105 db ( A weighted ) at the FOH postion.

The PA must run in stereo and have a separate monitor system.

1 kW per 100 people. Stereo 4-way system is preferred.

1 40 channel console with a 4 band semi-parametric eq for Front of House

High and low pass filtering, phantom power, phase reverse, 6 aux sends, VCA's.

Drive rack with 2 stereo 31-band equalizers over stereo buss.

2 SPX 2000/1000/ 990/900 units

2 Lexicon PCM 80/81/90/91

4 gates ( Drawmer 201's or BSS )

8 compressors

1 CD player

1 clearcom system to monitor desk

Enough mic cables for the sole use of The New York Dolls

1 32-channel monitor console with a minimum of 6 aux. sends for monitors

1 quality reverb unit for the monitor desk

10 biamped monitor wedges, 15x2 wedges preferred

1 drum fill wedge

31-band eq's for each mix

Misc

2 stage hands available to assist artist and crew at load in, during set change, and after show for load out.

Parking for 1 53' tour bus & trailer must be available from load in to end of show.
