The EAC

The EAC is an acronym for Evil Atheist Conspiracy and originated on alt.atheism and possibly some other newsgroups. For years various theists (mostly Christian fundamentalists) have proclaimed that all of the world's problems are caused by "liberal, jewish, homosexual, satanic, atheists". It always amazed us how they could combine satanists, jews and atheists into one "evil" group. These evangalists have also often claimed that science is a huge conspiray to cover up the real truth of their religion. Eventually several people decided to parody this view and ceated the idea of the EAC, a large, worldwide oganization made up of atheists (and perhaps agnostics) dedicated to slowly iradicating religion and taking over the world. I doubt any one really took it seriously, but it's still good for a laugh.

The EAC To date there are two EAC webpages, the first, "official" page" maintained by the Enlightened Despot where the conspirator list is held (I'm #26) as well as information on various EAC gear.

Secondly, we have the second EAC page run by Gregory Gyetko. This page is much more a reflection of the fundamentalists' original claims and emphasises the evil in EAC. Also features technical information and history.

In addition to these two wonderful sights, I will be maintaining the unofficial EAC Labs page here, where you can find all the latest equipment from the EAC, as well as plans for new technologies. I've contacted the Enlightened Despot and he now has a link from his products section to my page.
