Reiner Winterschladen, trumpet, fluegelhorn; Dal
Martino, bass, keyboards, guitars, samples
Not since Bitches Brew have I been taken in by so much electronics. I usually
prefer acoustic instruments because I get bored fast with repetitive electronics,
but Dal Martino got me with his clever use of the tech touch. He had some
electronic help on some of the tracks.
Reiner Winterschladen's trumpet is sooo Miles-like, very haunting and with
an edge that gives him his own signature.
There was some interesting voice overs on some of the tracks, some I understood and some I did not, but interesting just the same.
This is just what I need on occasions to get me
outside of my mainstream straightahead box.
