Although not really a Jazz performance, this CD is a good antidote when you feel the hubbub of life is going to drive you crazy. All of these wonderful tunes from yester year played in a laid-back and relaxed manner have an appeal which may go over the heads of younger folk today. Even without the words the familiarity of these old war-horses will give you a warm feeling of nostalgia.
Nothing nasty in the woodshed here.
