Dick Wellstood, piano
Simple and straightforward it may seem, but this
music is both reflective and stirring with the late Dick Wellstood captured
in a scintillating program of yesterday's hits.
Surely the ghost of Fats Waller was reigning over this session as Dick plays
many favorites that suit his stride piano style.
For many people this CD will be like a breath of fresh air when compared to the over produced music of the twenty-first century.
