Beegie Adair with the Jeff Steinberg Orchestra

An Affair to Remember

Village Square Records

Not exactly a "Jazz" album, this features lushly orchestrated popular songs from Hollywood heyday (1934 - 1962.) Adair's piano is front and center on the melodies, with plenty of strings and the occasional horn in the background. If you like Ferrante and Teicher (or maybe Guy Lombardo,) this one's for you.
