Peter Ind is a virtuoso bass player, well-know on both sides of the Atlantic
Ocean, with an enviable Jazz pedigree, due no doubt to his connection with
Jazz giants Lennie Tristano and Buddy Rich. Peter is joined on this tuneful
set by the talented guitarist Nils Solberg, who is at last receiving deserved
recognition after having spent considerable time playing in a variety of
musical situations. Nils and Peter show their kindred spirit in their committed
Jazz approach to the ten established standard tunes.
The high quality of this duo's musical performance creates an ideal setting
for relaxed listening.
A really worthwhile release.
