Ms Marano has certainly got the ingredients right for this new release. The songs are varied in mood and style, allowing Nancy to use the full range of her versatile voice.
The musicians are really terrific, with pianist Bavel proving an ideal partner, giving the support every singer needs as well as showing a neat Jazz style. The rest of the group is more than supportive, in fact Ilja and Angelo almost steal the show with their slick contributions. This is a very varied and entertaining collection of moods and tempos, showcasing the wide range of Nancy's abilities.
