This CD features American roots music definitely leaning toward Country Western swing. If you liked Les Paul and Mary Ford, this is right up your alley.
The cuts are interesting for the innovative, original lyrics and the performers are first rate musicians. The wonderful bass slapping by Jake Erwin is a highlight. Elana Fremerman's unaffected vocalizing is infectious.
With the swing revival now occurring, this CD is sure to be a winner when it is released.
