In some ways small group Jazz and straight-ahead vocals make strange bedfellows. Personally I would prefer to have them on separate recordings, but this may not be everyone's reaction.
The instrumental part of the CD is exciting and well performed, and Kenny's vocalizing is most tuneful and enjoyable. A special accolade goes to Steve Campos for his consistent and sensitive playing.
Apart from my reservation, the CD is well produced and may please many listeners.
