The saxophonists featured herein are undoubtedly brilliant players and despite their being drawn from a ten-year period the level of performance is consistently high.
Being devoid of any rhythm players gives this CD a one-dimensional aspect which may well appeal to lovers of the different saxophones, but doesn't necessarily achieve the ultimate listening pleasure for the more regular Jazz listeners.
