What do you use to clean the old albums of dust, etc.?

Editor: To clean old vinyl albums of dust, et cetera, use a new sponge and Dawn liquid soap. Put a few drops (depending on the number of albums you have to clean) in cold water, make a soapy solution, gently wash the albums in a circle following the grooves, and rinse with cold water. Use another new sponge to dry.

I've been meaning to contact you for weeks, and then, when I wrote you, my printer broke. I've been havin' to chill out.

I very much appreciate your support. The ad had a great location in the magazine. Thank you, Haybert. Nina deserves kudos. She is a fine human being.

Our hope for desired results is about to be recognized on a higher level outside the Colorado borders. We feel good about that. We were glad for the review with a little reservation. After listening to Doug and Ron's point of view, I agree, the Jazz needed to be recognized for its excellence, too.

Francesca did the "Poe" side welland we are poejazz. That's all. I certainly enjoy Francesca, and would enjoy meeting her someday. I understood too Francesca's sensitivity to the quote Nina selected. We hope we could sell enough CDs to pay for the ad. That shouldn't be unreasonable with the size of your readership.

Beyond that, Haybert, we appreciate the quality level in presenting Jazz Now magazine. We hope you will continue to spread the word about the Lou Malandra Trio, poejazz, and Out of Our Silence. It's a hip, straight-from-the-heart, monster talent experience. We'd like to connect with a great venue in your area of the country, Haybert. Perhaps a concert hall or club you know could sponsor a gig, and it can be a fund-raiser, moneymaker for all of us.

I look forward to hearing from you, Haybert. You are a blessed spirit, I can tell from your Jazz Now magazine.

You can e-mail me at LMalandra@aol.com. I like letters, but I need a few weeks to buy this printer, and I want to keep the music flowing. Let's continue to spread the love in our work, Haybert.

Lou Malandra, Poet
Littleton, Colorado
