Bill Evans, the saxophonist, is at the head of affairs here, and shows his soprano and tenor saxophones can produce very mellow sounds over the funky rhythm sections. He also wrote and arranged all the music on this album, which is generally at the pop end of the Jazz scale.
All very pleasant and danceable and excellent in its chosen style - if that's what you desire!
