Joe’s WoodCreations

Joe Buesgen, Sr.
Allentown,PA

Hi, my name is Joe and I am a wood crafts hobbyist.

This is my workshop which is located in my garage. I enjoy working with wood by way of using the DeWalt scroll saw, my Rikon mini-lathe and other coomon carpentry tools. Many of the projects that I work on come from book and internet sources, some from my own imagination, but in each case I try to put an individual addition of my own design to each of them making them unique.

Much of my knowledge comes from reading several sites online , experimenting with patterns and cuttings and sharing with other scrollers and turners.

I started off quite simply combining my wood-burning skills, and scroll sawing to make a few small projects. As time went on, I progressed to make my own patterns on my computer or modify others to fit my purpose. My latest interest is using a lathe to make wood pens, bowls, plates bottle stoppers, etc..

It is on this site that I would like to share some of my works. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Any questions or interest in a specific item(s), please contact me by e-mail.

Here I am at one of my other favorite pastimes working/playing at the computer. I spend time browsing, working on scrolling patterns, staying in contact with friends, playing games, and reading/writing on wood crafts related sites.
