So...what's a Learning and Development Facilitator?

 

Well, we used to be called "Trainers" but we got a fancy new title when Omnipoint (my former company) merged with VoiceStream (my current company.)

Anyway as you can assume from the former "Trainer" title - I train customer care and techincal support representatives for VoiceStream Wireless, which is a GSM wireless cellular phone company.

VoiceStream (and before that, Omnipoint) have been very good to me.  Who knew when I took a customer service rep job back in 1998, that in two years I would:

All in all, in the year 2000, our Bethlehem Call Center L&D team trained about 750 customer care representatives.  Go team!

Oh...and let's not forget the stock options.  ;)
