Note: The gallery numbers mentioned in the artist research pages are the galleries that the paintings were in at the time of research. Paintings are often moved between galleries, brought in and out of storage, or loaned to other institutions. Gallery numbers were originally used in my research to provide a convient way to flow through the museum picking artists. However, due to movement in the galleries, and due to some galleries having many artists, I will undoubtedly repeat galleries in the future after I have proceeded further along in the periods.
